	Eighteen miles northwest of San Antonio on I-10, take the first exit for Hwy. 87 and follow road into Boerne. At fourth traffic light, turn right onto 474. Follow road out of town for 6 miles, turn right onto Kreutzberg Road, and follow signs 5.3 miles to cave.

	Take I-35 north from Austin 27 miles to Exit 259 onto Business 89 toward Georgetown. Turn left under overpass and cross railroad tracks to cave headquarters.

LONGHORN CAVERN STATE PARK
	Take U.S. Hwy. 281 north from San Antonio or south from Dallas to Park Road 4, 8 miles north of Marble Falls at Colorado River. Follow Park Road 4 six miles to State Park Headquarters.

	Few mineral formations obscure the beautifully sculpted walls of Longhorn Cavern, which mark the convoluted meanders of an ancient stream. The cave is reknown for its colorful history, having served as a Comanche hideout, Civil War black powder factory, refuge for bandit Sam Bass, a dance hall, restaurant and church.

NATURAL BRIDGE CAVERNS
	Take Natural Bridge Caverns exit (mile 175) from I-35 between San Antonio and New Braunfels. Continue on County Route 3009 northwest for 7.5 miles. Natural Bridge's private road leads one mile to cave.
